Hometown: Westchester, NY.

Family background: I have an older sister and my parents, all of whom live in the NY area. My family was not overly musical, but I guess those piano lessons I was forced to take weren’t so bad.

Musical influences: Overall, The Allman Brothers Band has probably been the biggest influence on me musically. At the other end of the spectrum, I have great memories of seeing Tool and Nine Inch Nails in concert, and being completely blown away by both. As far as songwriting goes: Ben Harper.

Favorite record(s)/why: Derrick and the Dominos, Layla; in my mind the greatest classic rock album of all time. The merging of Clapton and D. Allman is amazing. It is also a sad tribute to what could have been had Duane not died so young.

Career aspirations: To be inspired by whatever I am doing.

Good habits: Shaving.

Bad habits: Being late.

Recent job(s): Research assistant at a hospital.

Worst job: Delivering Chinese food in college.

Favorite hangouts/why: Local bars in the city to meet up with friends for a beer.

What's so special about the band? We are all pretty easy-going, which helps everything run smoothly. I’m not sure how to explain it, but it just works.

What does being in Glacier Garden mean to you? Everything. Playing live and rehersing with these guys are two things that I always look forward to.
